There are 3 methods of embedding media into your blog, the first is the default way within your post or page editor within your admin pages.![]()
This is more useful for linking media and placing pictures within your blog but it is possible to add media from external web sites using oEmbed and Shortcodes.
Using oEmbed
Since January 16th 2010 it is now possible to embed media into your blogs posts and pages from most sites that support oEmbed by simply pasting the URL to the page containing the media directly into your post .
Make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post).
For example:
Check out this cool oEmbed demo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lbDyXu7gUQ
This is much easier.

Using Shortcodes
It is also possible to use the [embed] Shortcode for other supported sites.
For example:
Check out this really cool album:
[bandcamp album=1303289421 size=venti bgcol=FFFFFF linkcol=4285BB]
Very Mossy!
